Does your newspaper include the per-serving food facts on all published recipes? How about your favorite magazines? Food websites? Look at the recipes. Are the per-serving nutrition facts below each recipe??
WHAT TO DO:
Click on your favorite recipe sources using the link below to FIND OUT whether their recipes provide the "per-serving" food facts.
Newspapers, Magazines, Websites
If they DON’T, send a letter to the editor urging them to include a complete and accurate nutritional analysis for every recipe they publish. Here’s a sample letter. Personalize it or simply cut-and-paste it. Most publications have a "contact" or "feedback" button on their Home Page where you can find their email and postal mail addresses.
If they DO start publishing the nutrition facts, send them a thank you note and ask them to encourage their colleagues to follow their lead.
